Mombacho Cosecha 2013

Mombacho Cosecha 2013

Mombacho Cosecha 2013 800 450 Giuseppe Mitolo

Mombacho Cigars are produced in Granada in the splendid “Casa Favilli”, a colonial building designed and built by the Italian architect Mario Favilli. Among the most sought after lines of the brand is the Mombacho Cosecha. Reasons being, the limited production and the possibility to test the tobacco harvest of the year to which it refers to.

Mombacho Cosecha 2013 the cold draw recalls coffee and hazelnut, with mineral hints.

Once lit, delicate spicy notes, on a sapid base, reach the palate. The flavors explode immediately in all their richness. Black pepper, spices and bark, with leather in the background. Strength is medium (3/5).

 width=

In the second third, the saltiness is damped by a slight acidic component making the smoke less sharp. The flavor profile sees the addition of cocoa, earth and coffee, alongside the bark from the first third. Strength remains unchanged (3/5).

There are no changes in flavors in the final third. Bark and earth are now joined by balsamic and mineral nuances. Strength increases towards medium – full (4/5).

Overall, this Cosecha 2013 is rich in flavors. Easy to enjoy, without requiring too much attention (thanks to the format, but also to the controlled strength). Excellent balance between flavors and strength.
