The “dandelion flower” is the third release in the “Nature of Shinshu” series, inspired by the beautiful surroundings of the Nagano Prefecture. In this case, precious 20-year-old whisky from sherry casks is vatted with young whisky matured in Bourbon and American white oak barrels.

Overall, the Mars Komagatake Shinanotanpopo is an intense Japanese whiskey. To the nose is great, very deep and structured. A great Japanese whisky. This Mars whisky was awarded as the 9th best whisky in 2019 awards.
