Tasting notes MACALLAN RARE CASK
Nose: the first perceivable note is bacon. Then a spicy aroma get delivered (black pepper in particular), together with tobacco. Then it’s the time of red fruit, cherry and black cherry. Dark chocolate completes the aromatic palette.
Palate: notes of dark chocolate, cherry, spices and dry fruits. It exhibits a good complexity.
Finish: long persistence. There are spicy notes, cocoa and once again red fruits (cherry and dark cherry).
The Macallan Rare Cask is a high quality scotch whisky, made from a good ex-sherry casks selection. The complexity is great and so the harmony pf the aromatic palette.
