Born in 2010 as a micro-distillery in Brooklyn, King’s County has grown to become a top-level company. This bottling starts from the joint effort of some New York State distilleries to recover the local tradition of rye whiskey.
It is a mash of 80% local organic rye and 20% barley imported from England, aged for 2 years in toasted American oak barrels. The bottles, in which it is sold, are 375 ml.

TASTING NOTES KINGS COUNTY STRAIGHT RYE
Nose
intense aromas of oak, followed by a blast of caramel and brown sugar, further enriched by spices. Pecan nut to complete the flavor profile.
Palate
the spices are confirmed, now flanked by a dash of white pepper. Oak wood is always among the main flavors, joined by notes of caramel and pecan nut. Lastly, balsamic nuances are also perceptible.
Finish
medium long persistence. Spicy notes, caramel and pecan are present. The balsamic component (menthol) is well accentuated.
Kings County Straight Rye is a whiskey with an excellent persistence, which is nothing short of explosive in terms of flavors present on the palate. Very aromatic, intense and balanced, it is a particularly satisfying and surprising rye. Round.
