The Kensei is a Japanese blended whiskey, not particularly known and not available in all the markets. In the US, this product doesn’t seem to be available yet, and the same is for many European countries. This blended whiskey is made at the Tanzawa mountain. It is made artisanally, with whiskeys coming from the prefecture of Nagano and Hokkaido. After being blended, it is aged for 3-4 years in American Oak barrels.

TASTING NOTES – KENSEI
Nose
Scents of yellow fruit and cotton candy are enriched with wood spices and nuances of walnut.
Palate
It is delicate and floral, with sweet notes of dried fruit with shell, together with hints of honey. Sugary. Intensity is rather contained.
Finish
Short persistence. It unleashes wood, hints of honey and wood spices notes.
Overall, the Kensei is a Japanese whiskey equipped with a very sweet flavor profile. Intensity is rather contained as well as the complexity. It is easy to sip and to enjoy, as far as it is good for meditation.
