Habanos SA will present the new Hoyo de Monterrey Double Coronas Gran Reserva Cosecha 2013 during the evening dedicated to the Hoyo de Monterrey brand. It is scheduled for Wednesday 20 February during the XXI Habano Festival.
Hoyo de Monterrey Double Coronas Gran Reserva Cosecha 2013 has identical dimensions compared to the regular production Double Corona: 49 x 194 mm (7.6″). Aesthetically, the Gran Reserva differs from the ordinary Double Coronas by the addition of a second band .
Gran Reserva editions are selected, in odd years (even years are reserved for Reservas), within the global brands of the Habanos portfolio. Gran Reserva cigars consist of tobacco grown exclusively in Vuelta Abajo and aged for a minimum of 5 years. In this case, leaves are from the cosecha 2013.
It is the first time that the Hoyo de Monterrey brand is selected as a Gran Reserva. Back in 2016, the Epicure No.2 was the Reserva release.
