TTASTING NOTES HIGHLAND PARK VALKYRIE
Nose: immediately rich notes of orange peel and ripe fruit (apricot) develop. There is also a vein of red fruit. Then there are scents of caramel, joined by a vegetable notes. Lastly, aWell balanced.
Palate: the first impact releases smoky and woody notes, followed by spices (white pepper). The caramel and the vegetable nuances, already perceived on the nose, are also perceptible. Lastly, hints of cocoa appear.
Finale: medium persistence. Vanilla is the main actor, followed by wood. Soave hints of nutmeg.
The aromatic palette is fairly wide, even if it is not particularly complex. The aromas are however well defined and this Scotch whiskey gives rise to a good intensity.
