Hibiki Japanese Harmony is currently the most wide-spread and easily available Hibiki branded whiskey. As for some years now, Japanese brands offer mostly NAS products (no age statements). This Hibiki Japanese Harmony falls within this, now a large circle. At the base of Hibiki Japanese Harmony is a blend of whiskeys that come from the Yamazaki, Hakushu ,and Chita distilleries. These whiskeys are matured in various types of cask: American white oak, Sherry casks, and Mizunara oak casks.

TASTING NOTES – HIBIKI JAPANESE HARMONY
Nose
intense hints of ripe fruit, where plum stands out, and a touch of honey. After a few minutes there is also a hint of balsamic herbs, mainly menthol.
Palate
sweet and honeyed. Fruity notes of pear and apple peel, joined by a light spice of white pepper. A touch of Marzipan.
Finish
Medium-long persistence. Wood, honey and a fruity hint of apple are perceptible.
Complessivamente, l’Hibiki Japanese Harmony è un whiskey semplice da apprezzare, grazie a una paletta aromatica dotata di eccellente armonia ed equilibrio. Un prodotto valido, perfetto per catapultarsi nell’interessante mondo degli whisky giapponesi.
