Tasting notes GLENLIVET 12

Nose: very floral. It  releases notes of chamomile and saffron. There are also intense aromas of vanilla perceptible. Lastly, slight hints of malt reaches the nostrils.

Palate: aromatic intensity is fairly weak. It developes notes of fruits, apple in particular. Then followed by spices (white pepper) and hints of citrus. Malted notes towards the finale.

Finale: of medium persistency. Spicy (white pepper), with notes of malt and fruits.

Overall, a easy to drink product, but with a particularly limited complexity. The nose results interesting and peculiar, but suffers an involution on the palate.
