TASTING NOTES – FRANCOIS VOYER VS

Nose

Aromatic and rather delicate. There are brown sugar, flowers, and some honeyed wood notes. Very simple, sweet, and with a reasonable amount of freshness.

Palate

Sweet arrival, with notes of caramel, dried apricot, and vanilla. It is a little on the dry side. The bouquet is then completed with some earth, pine needles, and grass. Light spirit, decent mouthfeel.

Finish

Shortish. There are some aromas of peach marmalade, soft oak, and black tea.

Overall, the Francois Voyer VS is a rather decent product for being “only” a VS. That said, the VSOP version of the Francois Voyer is on another level.
