TASTING NOTES ENGLISH HARBOUR 1981
Nose: the first whiff is sweet, a sugary and fruity sweetness. It unleashes hints of brown sugar, caramel and fruit syrup, all supported by a suave white pepper spice. Elegant.
Palate: of good intensity, immediately releases white pepper. Then continues on notes of vanilla and milk chocolate. Aromas of fruit (peach, apricot, strawberry and sour cherry), are mixed with less pronounced dried fruits (hazelnuts and dates).
Finish: of medium persistence, it is complex and develops dried fruits, spices, ripe fruits, cocoa and vanilla.
The English Harbor 1981 is an elegant rum, sweet and without “smudges”, with a discrete complexity but still easy to drink. Well balanced and harmonious in every nuance.
