The Davidoff Signature No. 2 is part of one of the brand’s oldest lines. In reality, the No. 2 is even older because it was a size produced by Zino Davidoff in Cuba, before all production, in 1991, was interrupted and then resumed in the Dominican Republic. A Connecticut seed grown in Ecuador is used for the wrapper. The binder is also Ecuadorian, while the filler is exclusively Dominican.
The Signature No. 2 is sold in 25-ct or 20 tubos boxes. If you do not want to opt for purchasing a whole box, you can find it in packs of five cigar or four tubos. The price obviously fluctuates slightly depending on the packaging you intend to choose.

The cigar is dressed in a very shiny wrapper of a Claro shade with golden reflections. To the touch, it is quite smooth, with barely any veins present. The overall craftsmenship is excellent. We found gaps in the fillers in a few samples, a small flaw that we can concede given the size.

Davidoff Signature No. 2: the nose is immediately greeted with vanilla and white pepper aromas, enriched by earth and wood nuances.

In conclusion, this Davidoff Signature No. 2 is a great product, with its elegance as its strong point. The balance between aromas and strength is congruent with a not very intense flavor profile, especially in the first third. It loses points in the evolution, particularly between the second and last thirds. It is a cigar that can be enjoyed throughout the morning, with a clean palate.
