The name is a Dominican slang term used for small cigar factories. For more details, click here.

Chinchalle

Chinchalle: aromas of hay and tobacco reach the palate in the cold draw. Once lit, the cigar opens with wood and creamy, nutty flavors.

Chinchalle

The first third continues with the creamy nut flavor, mainly hazelnut, followed by wood and light hints of white pepper. A herbal sensation can be made out as well from time to time. Strength is medium-light (2/5).

The white pepper picks up in intensity next to the wood and hazelnut. The herbal note turns balsamic and is now more present than before, and the cream is still present in the background. Strength increases only slightly (2.5/5).

The last third sees the flavor profile increase in intensity and depth. The creamy note has vanished, and the balsamic aroma becomes the prominent flavor in the end. Strength remains constant.

Overall, the Chinchalle is an elegant, thanks to the contained strength, yet flavorful smoke. The aromas are complex and well balanced among each other. A great smoke for any time of the day.
