TASTING NOTES CASTAREDE VSOP

Nose: discreet alcoholic intensity. Immediately a rather strong hint of grapes. Light spiciness, especially green pepper, but also cinnamon. Green tea, almost minty. Warm and enveloping.

Palate: astringent, followed by notes of fruits, white grapes, peach syrup, apricot and Williams pear. A black pepper spice is present and increases in intensity. Dried fruits towards the finish, nuts and dates.

Finish: medium persistence. Cacao, black pepper and ripe fruits are perceptible.

The Castarède VSOP is a crescendo of aromas and intensity. The nose is slightly subdued, but it is still appreciable.
