CAO Arcana Firewalker Closed Box

CAO’s follow-up to the Arcana Mortal Coil is called Arcana Firewalker. The Firewalker highlights an archaic way of aging tobacco, called chincagre. Chincagre is a primary aging process used by tobacco farmers in the Masatepe region in Western Nicaragua.

The filler tobacco, grown in the same Masatepe region, is stacked into a large pilón and then buried into the volcanic soil for two months. Afterward, the pilón is moved to the factory, where it undergoes a second fermentation of nine months.

Including this unique filler tobacco, the blend is rounded out by an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder. The Firewalker is sold exclusively in the States and comes in a single 56 x 165mm (6 1/2″) sized Toro Gordo vitola and the production is limited to 5,000 20-count boxes. They are produced at the American Caribbean Cigars S.A. factory in Esteli, Nicaragua. Suggested retail price is $11.99 per single cigar, and the cigars should be on their way to stores this week.
