Camus Borderies XO Cognac

Camus Borderies XO Cognac 1370 770 Luca Cominelli

Camus is one of the large cognac companies that still has a family management and is located right in the heart of the Borderies region. Camus Borderies XO Cognac is made using eaux-de-vie sourced exclusively from the Borderies region, making it the only cognac of this type currently on the market. The maturation, as per tradition, takes place in French oak barrels, coming from the Limousine forest. The eaux-de-vie, for this Borderies XO, are aged for at least 10 years.

TASTING NOTES – CAMUS BORDERIES XO COGNAC

Nose

Fruity notes of plum and apple are followed by a hazelnut and almond aroma, togheter with a touch of orange peel.

Palate

Sweet and round. Once again, fruity notes and citrus are followed by an orange peel aroma. Sugary peaks are perceivable as well, completing the aromatic bouquet.

Finish

Medium persistency. White pepper, raisins and honey.

Overall, the Camus Borderies XO Cognac is a cognac equipped with a nice intensity and a rather prolonged finish. Warm and round, it delivres a very harmonious flavor profile
