TASTING NOTES BALVENIE TRIPLE CASK 16 YO
Nose: very fruity, with sweet aromas of plum and candied fruit. Then wood and vanilla, which are soon joined by intense caramel nuances.
Palate: wood and white pepper, enriched with honey. A touch of cocoa, then wood again. A note of ripe fruit (pineapple and peach) is also perceptible. Sweet.
Finish: medium persistence. Pretty dry. A lot of wood.
Overall, the Balvenie Triple Cask 16 yo is a product with excellent balance. It is very easy to drink and has a fairly structured flavor profile.
