TASTING NOTES BALVENIE 17 DOUBLEWOOD

Nose: at first, a rich note of wood is delevered. Then it develops spices and cereal biscuits. After a few minutes, the red fruit emerges, along with vanilla, wax and honey.

Palate: the notes perceived to the nose are substantially re-proposed. It is very balanced. Vanilla, custard, elegant spices, acacia honey and red fruit are perceptible.

Finish: long persistence. Notes of wood, spices, vanilla and honey. Complex.

Overall, one fo the best characteristics of the Balvenie 17 Doublewood is its balance, that is excellent. Good intensity. The complexity, compared to 12 years version, is much more pronounced.
