TASTING NOTES BALVENIE 14 YO CARIBBEAN CASK

Nose: tropical fruit sweetness, banana, pineapple, also cane sugar and some funkiness. Apple is present. Liqueur sweetness, The finish in Caribbean casks is rather evident, pleasant of course.

Palate: sweet arrival, with a rum influence. All kinds of sweet tropical fruit, but mostly bananas. Then honey, sugarcane, some cocoa, few vanilla pods and wood tannins.

Finish: medium persistency. Molasses and over stewed black tea.

The Balvenie 14 YO Caribbean Cask is pleasant, easy, maybe rather more rum than whisky.
