The El Sitio cigars are Puros from the Canary Islands. They come from a small island called La Palma to be exact. El Sitio handles in house each and every step from seeds, to growing, fermenting, and rolling tobacco. Intense and satisfying, this cigar highlights all the best characteristics of tobacco grown in the Canary Islands.
The smoke opens with a mix of earth, cocoa and cedar wood, supported by a major spicy component of black pepper. In the second half, the spices explode, becoming the main flavor, followed by rich earthy notes.

HOW ARE THE AWARDS MADE?
Among the cigars tested during the year in blind tastings and reviews, those that scored the best score get re-selected. These products were then tested once again in a new blind tasting, which means not knowing what they are during the tasting. The test results are then compared and the TOP 5 are made.
Since 2015, CigarsLover Magazine has focused on terroirs, in order to give the right space to all the producing countries.
From 2018, the TOP 5 were paired with the TOP 50, which lists the 50 best cigars without distinction of origin. This list, together with the Best Brands, the Best Buy and the Best Boutique Brands, will be published in Winter 2019 issue of CigarsLover Magazine.
