AVO XO Maestoso

AVO XO Maestoso

AVO XO Maestoso 800 450 Luca Cominelli

The AVO XO Maestoso is the size with the most generous dimensions of the line: it is a slightly oversized Churchill , due to the larger ring gauge (48 instead of 47) compared to the standard size. The peculiarity of the tobaccos, underlined by the name of the line, is an aging of six years.

  • Size: 48 x 178 mm (7’’)
  • Wrapper: Ecuadorian Connecticut

Aesthetically, it is dressed with a Colorado Claro wrapper, smooth to the touch. The workmanship is excellent and the cigar is filled homogeneously and uniformly.

AVO XO Maestoso: unlit, hints of hay. The opening brings notes of nuts, hazelnut in particular, to the palate.

Strength is slightly above average (3,5/5). In some puffs, hot spices peep out. The smoke is very creamy, almost buttery.

In the second third, we continue on the notes of nuts (hazelnut) and aged wood. The aromatic palette is well blended and the aging of six years for the tobaccos is well perceptible. Strength remains constant (3.5 / 5).

In the last third of the smoke, spices come back into the limelight, now joined by faint notes of herbs and the omnipresent aged wood and hazelnut. Overall, a smoke that releases a well-amalgamated and fairly ample aromatic palette. The balance is perfect and does not fail from the first to the last puff. Incredibly creamy.
