Esthetically the cigar shows a light curling on the capa, which is of colorado shade with some darker highlights. It is silky and the veining is not very pronounced.

Alec Bradley Connecticut Toro: before lighting the cigar up, herbal and light nutty flavors can be perceived; the first draws are reminding of hazelnut and vanilla.

In the first third the aromas of the first draws get more intense; in a short time ripe fruit and refined black pepper are also represented. At the end of the segment also cedar wood, ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon notes appear. Light to medium in body (2,5/5).

In the second third the cigar moves on with similar notes. In the middle part of the smokey wood flavors become stronger, a light earth note appears, followed by a hint of pepper, and the spicy mix (ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg) stays only in the background. Strength increases a bit (3/5).

In the last third aromas become smoother, less intense, with wood, pepper and nutmeg still present. In the end sweet almond tastes can be perceived. Body is still medium (3/5).

This cigar produces a fresh, sweet, creamy, almost buttery smoke. Burn is irregular, and some corrections are required during the smoking. Draw is good and the amount of smoke is ample. Ash is compact, and falls down at the beginning of the last third. After-smoke persistency is pleasant and it features herbal notes (black tea) and spices (black pepper).
