QRM is the most aged ron produced by Oliver & Oliver distillery, established in Cuba, but operating for a long time in Santo Domingo. Made from molasses and aged in bourbon cask with a solera method where the oldest liquor has 30 years, the QRM is a creamy, sumptuous, and perfectly structured ron.
In the glass, it reveals caramel, honey and spices, together with dried orange. Wood, cocoa, caramel and almond on the palate. Cacoa, caramel and wood spices are confirmed in the long finish.

HOW ARE THE AWARDS MADE?
Among the rums tested during the year in blind tastings and reviews, those who scored the best were selected. These products were then tested once again in a new blind tasting, which means not knowing what they are during the tasting. The only indication on the sample concerns the ABV content: a red mark states that the product has an ABV higher than 50% (100° proof). The test results are then compared, and the TOP 10 is made. This list will be published in detail in the Winter 2020 issue of CigarsLover Magazine.
