With the Limited Edition 2022 Gran Toro, Davidoff sought to create a blend that combined the tobaccos of the Escurio, Nicaragua, and Yamasá lines. The cigar is complex and flavorful, with a very broad flavor profile. Aromas are added and layered on top of each other throughout each third while being masterfully balanced among themselves.
It opens with aromas of wood and herbs that carry into the first third, where vegetal notes, white pepper, and hazelnut are added. Then the nutty component turns to almonds, and the coffee joins the profile. Balsamic nuances appear in the last third, together with black pepper.

Those who scored the highest among the cigars tested during the year in blind tastings and reviews get re-selected.
