Cohiba Talismán becomes regular production 1600 900 Michel Arlia

Habanos S.A. officially launched the new Cohiba Talismán in London last week, marking it as part of the standard Cohiba Línea Clásica line. Previously a limited edition, the Cohiba Talismán debuted at a celebratory event attended by around 400 guests, including representatives from Habanos S.A., the company behind Cuba’s cigars.

The Talismán is a Sublimes No. 1 size, measuring 6 1/8 x 54. Sold in special gift packs of three for £600 ($791), it will later be available in boxes of 10. This year marks the 60th anniversary of the Cohiba brand, and the Talismán is the first celebratory cigar introduced for the occasion, with more releases expected throughout the year.

Originally launched in 2017 as an Edición Limitada, it returned again in 2019. The regular production includes new packaging and a foot band identifying the Talismán. Habanos has introduced NFC chips in the boxes for authenticity verification, and three-count boxes will be available exclusively in the U.K. for £600. Additional price details for the 10-count boxes have yet to be announced as well as when they will appear on markets worldwide.
