The Cohiba Talismán, a highly sought-after limited-edition cigar, is no longer limited, as it joins the brand’s regular portfolio in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Cohiba brand. Originally debuting in November 2017 as an Edición Limitada, the Talismán measures 6 1/8 by 54. It was so well-received that Habanos S.A. reintroduced it two years later, still as an Edición Limitada.
This time, the Talismán will be available as a regular-production smoke, with a launch event set for October 7 in London, coinciding with the 60th-anniversary celebrations for Cohiba. While pricing details have yet to be announced, it’s anticipated that the cost will be in the triple digits per cigar, reflecting the trend of rising prices for Cohiba products.
Additionally, the Cohiba Ambar now offers a glossy tubo packaging, although availability varies by country. The Ambar was first announced in 2021 in conjunction with Cohiba’s 55th anniversary, and it took three years for it to reach the market. The cigar measures 5 1/4 by 53 and features a pigtail cap.
Initially available in 10-count boxes, Ambars can now be found in three-pack tubos in some regions, while others are still waiting for their shipments, with availability expected soon.
