Lee Marsh of Stolen Throne Cigars typically avoids making line extensions for his portfolio. However, to celebrate the fifth anniversary of his company, he made an exception by adding a new size to the Crook of the Crown, which is the company’s first line.
The new cigar measures 46 x 152mm (6″), a size that Marsh considers one of his favorites. “I thought it would be a cool, one-and-done way to celebrate the five-year anniversary,” he stated.
Regarding the tobacco, Marsh mentioned that the Crook of the Crown has been reblended for this release, as the ratios of the tobaccos needed to be adjusted. Nonetheless, he confirmed that it still features the same blend as the original Crook of the Crown line, which includes a Mexican San Andrés maduro wrapper, an Indonesian binder, and Nicaraguan filler.
Production is limited to 50,000 cigars, which are packaged in 20-count bundles, with a suggested retail price of $12 per cigar. They are being produced at the Rojas Cigar Factory located in Estelí, Nicaragua.
Marsh anticipates that the cigars will begin shipping in May.
