The Stolen Throne Crook of the Crown 5th Anniversary Corona, as the name suggests, is a limited-release cigar to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the brand, and especially the line, Crook of the Crown, that had started it all for the company.
The blend has remained unchanged, although per Lee Marsh, founder of Stolen Throne, the ratios were tweaked to better fit the size.
The wrapper is rustic and of a Maduro Oscuro hue. The cigar is finished with a closed foot and a pigtail (the regular production sizes don’t feature a pigtail finish). Construction is good, and the filling is uniform.

Stolen Throne Crook of the Crown 5th Anniversary Corona: the cold draw reveals aromas of cocoa and clean tobacco. Once lit, the cigar opens with cocoa, leather, and earth.
Overall, the Stolen Throne Crook of the Crown 5th Anniversary Corona is a balanced smoke with a dark and broad flavor profile. While it is a bit linear in terms of progression, the black pepper spice is in crescendo throughout each third, making for a satisfying smoking experience.
