Dunbraton Tobacco & Trust has announced their limited release, the DTT 2026 “Year of the Pausers” – “Friends to Many,” honoring Michelle and Tom Pauser, known as “The Alaskans.” The decision to honor both individuals was significant, resulting in two distinct blends inspired by their favorite DTT cigars. Michelle enjoys the Sin Compromiso, while Tom prefers the bolder offerings like Mi Querida Black and Triqui Traca.
Michelle’s blend features a Mexican Cultivo Tonto San Andrés wrapper, an Ecuador Habano Viso Rosado binder, and a filler of Nicaraguan and Pennsylvania tobaccos. Tom’s blend showcases a first-generation hybridized seed that crosses the classic H2000 Sungrown Cuban Seed with a US Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, dubbed Capa Camaleón by Saka, a binder made from Mexicano San Andrés Negro, and a filler that combines Nicaraguan and Dominican tobaccos.
Both blends come in a 48 x 152mm (6″) size finished with a pigtail. The cigars will be packaged in a 14-count box containing two different blends, with 7 cigars of each. The MSRP is $276.50 for the cabinet and $19.75 per cigar. These special cigars were crafted at JDN & NACSA in Esteli, Nicaragua, and the release is limited to approximately 2,700 boxes, with availability expected in late March 2026.
