Small Batch Traders of the Netherlands has a couple of new products coming to the Dutch market. The biggest news is that they are the distributor of Drew Estate.
Effective January 1, 2026, Small Batch Traders will be Drew Estate’s distributor of cigars in the Netherlands. Founded in 2021, Small Batch Traders specializes in premium handmade cigars and now adds Drew Estate’s innovative brands to its portfolio.
Stijn Elbersen, founder of Small Batch Traders, expressed pride in partnering with Drew Estate, stating, “We look forward to bringing their brands to Dutch retailers.” David Cruz Tortora, General Manager of International Brand Development at Drew Estate, noted the importance of collaborating with a distributor who understands the premium segment.
Glenn Wolfson, CEO of Drew Estate, emphasized his excitement about working with Small Batch Traders, highlighting their shared commitment to quality and partnership.
Small Batch Traders has also announced the launch of Great Wall Cigars GX Lion’s Glory in the Netherlands, a unique collaboration with international cigar specialists. This release signifies a blend of global expertise and the brand’s heritage of quality.
Developed through an international initiative, the cigar showcases the collaboration between international cigar specialists (including Small Batch Traders Stijn Elbersen), who worked alongside Great Wall’s Master Blender team. The result is a 52 x 165mm (6 ½”) Toro, crafted in Shifang City, Sichuan, with a limited production of 50,000 cigars. It features an Ecuadorian wrapper, Indonesian binder, and fillers from Cameroon, Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, and China. Retail prices for the 10-count box are €200, and the 20-count humidor is €500.
“This project reflects our commitment to the future of Great Wall Cigars,” the company stated, emphasizing the blend’s traditional roots and contemporary craftsmanship. GX Lion’s Glory is available in China and will be distributed in the Netherlands via Small Batch Traders, with plans for a debut in select international markets.
