Liga Privada Unico Series Papas Bravas Toro 1600 900 Michel Arlia

Drew Estate’s popular Liga Privada Unico Series received two new vitolas late last year, called Papas Bravas. These new sizes are sort of the big brothers to the Papas Fritas. The new Robusto and Toro sizes are also short filler cigars.

There is one downside for the US market, these new vitolas are exlusive for international market outside of the US.

Liga Privada Unico Series Papas Bravas Toro: The cold draw presents evident smoky aromas and leather. Once lit, the cigar opens with earth and leather, with some cocoa present as well.

The earth and leather combo carry into the first third, with the cocoa and some woody nuances present in the background. The strength level is a medium-light (2/5).

A hazelnut note is added to the profile of earth, leather, cocoa, and wood. The strength level grows to a solid medium body (3/5).

In the last third, a balsamic note is introduced while the remainder of the profile stays unchanged. The same goes for the strength.

Overall, the Liga Privada Unico Series Papas Bravas Toro is a solid smoke. While it may not be the most complex, in terms of flavors and evolution, it does a great job of delivering a flavorful and balanced smoke.
