The Punch Punch is a traditional Corona Gorda from the traditional Punch brand and a classic in the Cuban portfolio. It has been in production since before 1960, but until the mid-1980s, it was known as Punch Punch de Luxe. The Punch Punch showcases why it is a classic.
It starts smooth and mellow, with notes of earth, leather, honey, and wood. The flavor evolves: ripe fruits and cocoa aromas emerge, with roasted notes. Towards the end, a delicate note of pepper and clove appears. The creamy smoke is subtly spicy with a delicate woodiness throughout.
