Nose
Sweet aromas of marzipan and gingerbread, followed by rich hints of cocoa. Then burnt caramel, almond and red fruits. Well structured.
Palate
Red fruit (cherry in alcohol) and balsamic herbs are almost completely mashed together. The latter gradually takes over. Then cocoa. Sweet and oily. At times it recalls characteristics thtat are also present in Italian bitters.
Finish
medium intensity and finish. Aromas of cocoa and almond are perceptible.
