Widow Jane Vaults 20

Widow Jane The Vaults 2020 Edition is the company’s second release in this series. This year’s blend is some of Widow Jane’s rarest and oldest bourbon whiskeys. The blend is a marriage made up of 15 to 17-year-old barrels. The barrels were hand-selected from their warehouse stock stored in their rick house in Red Hook, Brooklyn. Widow Jane President, Distiller, and Blender Lisa Wicker was the person to personally select the Vault’s 2020 barrels. The selected whiskey bourbon was then batch finished in a unique Appalachian Oak process. The wood used in the barreling was air seasoned for 5 years. Like all of the brand’s whiskey releases, this whiskey is brought to proof using pure limestone mineral water from the Rosendale Mines of New York. The water source is located about 100 miles north of the distillery.

The Vault’s 2020 release is non-chill-filtered and bottled at 99 Proof (49.5% ABV). A little over 5,000 bottles were produced for this release. The 2020 has an MSRP of $199 per 750-ml bottle.
