Intertabak AG, the exclusive Habanos Distributor in Switzerland, has announced two soon-to-arrive Casa del Habano Exclusive, the Cohiba Ideales and the Romeo y Julieta Cupidos.
The Cohiba Ideales was first unveiled last year at the 55th-anniversary celebrations of the Cohiba brand in Havana. Therefore, the brand anniversary logo can also be found on the inside lid of the typical book-shaped box and on a second cigar ring. The Colección Habanos contains twenty Cohiba Ideales, and they are among the largest format cigars of the Cohiba brand ever.
The production name is called “Moderna” and measures 56 x 175 mm (6 7/8″). Only 3,000 boxes of these will be produced. They will be available exclusively in the shops of the international franchise network “La Casa del Habano”.
Romeo y Julieta Cupidos is a new cigar format offered by Habanos S.A. exclusively for La Casas del Habano and Habanos Specialists shops. A completely new Figurado format is called “Veronas” and measures 55 x 148 mm (5 7/8″), alluding to the famous tragedy by William Shakespeare that gave the brand its name. This also applies to the format’s name: “Cupidos” is the Spanish word for the god of love in Roman mythology.
The Romeo y Julieta Cupidos is presented in a 20-ct luxury boite nature box. A second ring on the cigar indicates the exclusive sale in the La Casas del Habano and Habanos Specialist shops through the logos.
The Cohiba Ideales will be available on the 21st of November, 2023, with a retail price of 10,000 Swiss Francs per box. The Romeo y Julieta Cupidos will be available on the 21st of November 2023 in the Casa del Habano and on the 28th of November in Habanos Specialist shops, with a retail price of 1,300 Swiss Francs per box.
