Tasting notes TALISKER 10 YO

Nose: initially, it result slightly peated and reveals smoked and marine notes. Flavors of seaweed, honey and citrus follow. Lastly, hints of ripe fruits are perceptible, pear in particular.

Palate: peat, spices and black pepper at first, followed by aromas of caramel and grape. Sugary notes, malt and iodine, combined with hints of ripe fruits, complete the aromatic palate.

Finale: medium long persistency. It gives rise to notes of peat, wood and hints of caramel.

A good malt, equipped with an appreciable alcoholic gradation. The spices are well present in the forefront, followed by the omnipresent marine scent, that characterizes the aromatic palette.
