After the successful and soughtafter first edition, the Compagnia Toscana Sigaro has again released this large cigar. The 2019 edition was made with Valtiberina tobaccos from the 2016, 2017 and 2018 vintages. The cigar is made with long filler leaves and a binder.
Once the box is open, the cigar is wrapped in a bright dark brown wrapper. It is rustic to the touch, with pronounced veins. The craftsmanship is more than good and the weight suggests a generous filling. The draw appears to be slightly open.

Super Tuscan Tornabuoni 2019: the aromas of the unlit cigar are reminiscent of hazelnuts but also, to a lesser extent, carob and earth.
Once lit, the cigar is immediately spicy which, although powerful, fades within a few minutes. A salty dominant flavor, joined by wood, nuts and earth. Strength is medium – full (4/5).
Continuing, an acidic component increases in intensity, that is balanced with the sapidity. The flavors are structured around mineral notes, nuts and wood. Strength becomes full (5/5).
In the last third, the main flavors remain unchanged, while the remaining profile circles around wood and leather, with spicy hints, that extend until the last puffs of fruition. Strength remains stable (5/5).
Overall, Super Tuscan Tornabuoni 2019 is a very convincing product. The aromas are well outlined and the flavor profile is well structured and not boring. It is a product that is proposed to expert smokers, also in consideration of an almost always full bodied strength. Making a comparison with the 2018 edition, the latest Super Tuscan appeared slightly less flavorful, but this does not mean it is not an excellent product.
