S.T Dupont presents an exclusive and very personal lighter, the S.T. Dupont DNA Collection.
The DNA Collection is created by the artist Oliver Kaps. For its realization 10 grams of hair, from the buyer of this lighter, are used. From which the DNA is extracted, then encapsulated in a certified and numbered Ruby, or Sapphire. The stone obtained will be used as a base for the lighter’s lacquer.
The precious varnish will be applied for 15 days, 5 hours of burning a day, for a total of 36 coats of paint, which will result in an incomparable shine. Production cycle of the S.T. Dupont DNA Collection requires 3 months of work.
To underline the artistic character of the product, there is the possibility of buying a double helix base that reproduces the DNA structure, on top of which the lighter and precious stone are placed to complete the composition of the work of art.
