 width=

• Country of Origin: Nicaragua
• Size: 52 x 132 mm (5,2’’)
• Wrapper: Mexican Rosado Oscuro
• Binder: Nicaragua
• Filler: Nicaragua
• Price: $10

Aesthetically, the cigar is dressed up in a Maduro shade wrapper. It is slightly rough to the touch, with very little veining. Construction is excellent. Filling is generous and homogeneous.

 width=

La Opulencia Robusto: before lighting the cigar up, the the nose is reached by ripe fruits and cocoa scents.

The first third delivers a delicate mix of sweet and sour flavors. The aromatic palette is well amalgamated, and the cigar exhibits notes of earth, pepper and spices, all “melted” together. Intensity is great, strength is medium (3/5).

 width=

In the second third, aromas turn to wood and leather, followed by intense notes of pepper. The saltiness is more pronounced, while the sour sensation disappears. Strength increases, reaching the medium high level (4/5).

Getting in to the final third, the aromatic bouquet is completed by rich balsamic herbs, that alternate the notes of earth, wood and leather. The finale is very peppery. Strength stays unchanged (4/5).

Overall, the La Opulencia Robusto develops a not particularly ample nor evolutive aromatic profile. However, the cigar is equipped with a great balance, together with a long persistency.
