TASTING NOTES – MACKMYRA 10 YEARS OLD
Nose
To the nose is fresh and it develops hints of cereals and vanilla, together with aromas of freshly cut grass. There are also some spicy notes.
Palate
Fruity notes of apple and pear are the first ones perceived. Then it is the turn of caramel and cereals, with an intense malty touch. A touch of green pepper is also there.
Finish
Persistence is medium. There are notes of ginger, vanilla and malt, together with a sweet peppery vein.
The Mackmyra 10 Years Old is a Swedish whiskey equipped with a good intensity and a fairly wide flavor profile. Enjoyable.
