Longrow 10 is a product of the recent past, a Scotch discontinued only a few years ago. Longrow is the Springbank line dedicated to double-distilled peated whiskys, of which 10 years was launched as a progenitor in 1985, as an experiment then kept in the core-range of the Campbeltown distillery.

TASTING NOTES LONGROW 10
Nose: releases slightly peated notes, followed by hints of medicinal herbs. Particular, intense and varied.
Palate: the mouth feel is fresh and you can perceive orange and strawberry jam. Afterwards, spices (black pepper and cinnamon) are laid out, followed by red fruits (plum and strawberry). A note of cocoa appears towards the finish.
Finale: long persistence and medium intensity. Peat, black pepper and red fruit.
Overall harmony is very good, as is the intensity.
