For some years Glengoyne has also put on the market a Cask Strength, able to satisfy the palates able to manage over 55 degrees of alcohol. The whiskey in question is Batch 4, commercialized in 2015.

TASTING NOTES Glengoyne Cask Strength Batch 4
Nose: rather peculiar, far from other whiskies from the distillery. It denotes malt, rather accentuated, but that does not mean that the product is young, followed by red apple. After a few minutes, some spices emerge: white pepper, cinnamon and paprika.
Palate: honey, red fruit (cherry) and strawberry jam are released. To complete the aromatic palette, milk chocolate and vanilla, well supported by the spices, gradually more intense.
Finale: prolonged persistence. Red fruit, vanilla, milk chocolate and white pepper are perceptible.
Glengoyne presents always different batches of this Cask Strength. Complexity is good.
