Glendronach Cask Strength Batch 1
Nose: sweet, with a wonderful hint of vanilla that introduces an intense malt aroma. Wood, spice timber, cut grass sensations and more sherry, but never invasive. Milk chocolate, sweet coffee. Evolving mature fruits.
Palate: absolutely tamed despite the high alcohol content. In order: a bit of wood, dried fruit, cocoa and coffee beans, raisins, dates and figs. Great balance. Dried apricots.
Finale: intense and long, wood, dry and ripe fruit. Licorice and ginger.
Comment: great balance, with an excellent quality/price ratio. A whisky recommended to everyone.
