Glendronach Parliament 21 is currently the Glendronach core-range whiskey with the highest aging. The mix of ex-sherry, Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez barrels, together with the rather high gradation, make it a top-level product capable to compete with much more expensive distillates.

TASTING NOTES GLENDRONACH 21 PARLIAMENT
Nose: perfumes of milk chocolate and ground coffee get delivered at first. After a few minutes, dried red fruits emerges cherry and sour cherry, together with hints of hazelnut and almond peaks. If you have the patience, dry mushrooms and wood polish can also be perceived.
Palate: it is sweet and spicy. It delivers black pepper and strawberry. After a few seconds, the chocolate, now closer to the dark one, and the ground coffee are back. The fruit gradually makes its way: cherry, black cherry and plum. Hints of dates also come to the palate.
Final: equipped with a long persistence. It develops spices, cocoa, coffee and dried red fruit.
Glendronach 21 Parliament is a great whisky, capable of delivering a well structured and deep aromatic palette. Compared to 18 years, this 21 is more difficult to analyze. The selection of barrels, as usual, is at the highest levels. The ABV chosen makes this product even more intriguing. A bottle to have.
