El Galan Reserva Especial Airosos is a cigar that is produced in Nicaragua and all the leaves that make up the blend are grown in Nicaragua. The mind behind this cigar is that of Felix A. Mesa.

El Galan Reserva Especial Airosos

El Galan Reserva Especial Airosos: unlit, it reveals hints of earth and cinnamon.

El Galan Reserva Especial Airosos

The first third of the smoke opens with notes of hot spices. Moving forward, a mix of earth and leather alternate, with the spicy notes that are well present in the background. Strength is medium – full (4/5).

In the second third, the flavor intensity drops slightly. Leather and nuts (mainly hazelnut) are perceptible. There are also toasted notes in the background. Strength decreases and is now just slightly above medium bodied (3.5/5).

The toasted note in the background remains present in the last third. The flavor are now more subtle. Nuts remain perceptible, mainly hazelnut, and earth are confirmed. Strength stays constant (3.5/5). Approaching the finish, the spicy component returns, with chili spice and hints of cinnamon.

Overall, the El Galan Reserva Especial Airosos releases a smoke of moderate flavor intensity. From an evolutionary point of view, the aromas do not show large variations, except for changes in intensity throughout the smoke. The flavor profile is good, although not particularly complex, it is fairly satisfying.
