The Debonaire Robusto is a cigar which was first marketed in 2012 by Philip S. Zanghi III and Daniel Sinclair. The launch took place in the United States and, for a few years, it has also been available on the European market. Initially the brand name was Debonaire Habano and the brand name derives from that of a rum.
Aesthetically, the cigars are dressed in a Colorado- Claro wrapper leaf. The filling is rather uniform, and the general construction of the cigar is good.

Debonaire Robusto: the opening reveals hints of barn and hay. Once lit, the first puffs are toasted.
The first third brings hay and cedar wood to the palate. The flavor intensity is discreet, but the profile is rather limited and not very structured. Strength stands on a medium level (3/5).
In the central section the flavor profile confirms the cedar wood as the main flavor, accompanied by nuacnes of hay. Strength shows no variation and remains stable on the medium level (3/5).
Only in the final third the flavor profile of this Robusto starts to move, notes of cedar wood are the undisputed protagonists of the smoke, now supported by toasted tips that become gradually more pronounced. At times, a cappuccino note is perceptible as well. Strength grows slightly in the finale (3.5/5).
Overall, the Debonaire Robusto releases a smoke with a good balance, but with a somewhat contained flavor profile. Even the evolution is linear and it takes until the final third that the cigar slightly changes. Balanced, but rather monotonous.
