Davidoff Yamasa Robusto is produced in the Dominican Republic and the measurements are that of a classic Robusto. The Yamasa line was the third line in Davidoffs “New World” series and was launched in 2016. Aesthetically, it is dressed in a Colorado colored wrapper, that is smooth to the touch. Filling is uniform.
The opening is acidulous and weeds reach the palate.
The second third alternates wood, balsamic herbs and hints of vanilla. Strength grows slightly (2,5/5).
In the final third, the aromatic palette does not undergo big changes. Wood remains present, as well as hints of vanilla. Balsamic herbs are gradually moving to the front. Strength becomes medium in the final(3/5).
