Cohiba Siglo VI Gran Reserva: before lighting the cigar up, hints of wood can be perceived. Opening gives off aged and sweet wooden notes. The base is slightly sweet.

The first third provides fine wood, pink pepper and honey notes. In some parts is vanilla perceivable. Smoke is very refined. Strength is medium (3/5).

The second third becomes pretty sweet. Rich spicy notes are developed, together with piquant peaks, alternating with fine wood and notes of hazelnut. The fruition is extremely refined. Strength increases slightly (3,5/5).

The last third changes into earth and cocoa flavors. Moving on into the fruition even aromatic herbs are added, becoming, step by step, more important in the following part of this last segment.

Cohiba-Siglo-VI-GR1

Overall, an exceptionally elegant and refined smoke, especially in the first two thirds, absolutely magnificent. Harmony is excellent, as well as balance. Evolution is bold and very well defined. Aromatic intensity and after smoke persistency are top notch.
