After a year of suspension, due to civil unrest in Nicaragua, the Nicaraguan cigar festival “Puro Sabor 2020” is back and will start next week on Tuesday, January 21st. Our team will be present this year as well, and the journey will be documented step by step by publishing the best images on our instagram profile.
The eighth edition of the Puro Sabor will take place from January 21 to 25 January 2020. The festival will allow not only to visit tobacco plantations, factories and to meet the people who make our beloved cigars every day, but also to learn about the history, the beauty and traditions of the country, seduced by the natural charm of Nicaragua.
Puro Sabor 2020 will start in Managua, where participants will register and relax in the hotel. At the end of the registration it will be possible to participate in various free activities, among which there is the transfer to the colonial city of Granada where you can visit the Mombacho cigar factory located in Casa Favilli.
On the second day, the festival will move to the city of Estelí, the tobacco capital of Nicaragua. Participants will be welcomed by the hospitality of the inhabitants, discovering a beautiful city characterized by a pleasant climate and lush nature.
In the following days, the guests will visit plantations and meet the people behind the cigars. Owners and torcedores will guide them in the discovery of manufacturing processes.
On the fifth day we return to Managua, waiting to board the flight that will bring the lucky aficionados back home.
During the entire stay, the members will be able to enjoy a multitude of premium cigars that Nicaragua is able to offer.
