Nose
To the nose, it releases scents of sweet fruits, accompanied by a touch of wood and spices (wood spices).
Palate
Spicy, with the wood spices being among the protagonists, together with candied fruits, malt and a touch of cinnamon.
Finish
Medium persistence. Wood spices, enriched by notes of malt and nuances of honey.
Overall, the Chivas Regal 12 yeards old, is a balanced Scotch whisky, equipped and with a decent intensity. That said, its flavor profile is not much wide, and it lacks in structure. All but a meditation whisky, it’s often used in cocktails.
